Can Tho hosts ‘Trăng Đoàn Viên - Mỹ Vị Tây Đô’ food fair

The ‘Trăng Đoàn Viên - Mỹ Vị Tây Đô’ food fair has officially opened at the Ninh Kieu pedestrian street in Can Tho as part of the 2026 Can Tho Shopping and Food Week. Organized by the Can Tho Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with Enterprise and Marketing Magazine, the event features approximately 100 stalls.

The fair showcases regional specialties, OCOP products, agricultural goods, traditional cakes, and various consumer goods from Can Tho and surrounding areas. It serves as a platform for businesses, cooperatives, and producers to promote their products, expand markets, and connect supply with demand.

A highlight of the opening ceremony was a cooking demonstration by internationally renowned chef Martin Yan, known for his ‘Yan Can Cook’ program. The event aims to promote domestic consumption, support the ‘Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods’ campaign, and enhance the connection between culture, cuisine, trade, and tourism in the region.
