Can Tho police arrest two men for snatch-and-grab robberies

Police in Can Tho have arrested two men, Nguyen Phi Dang and Le Huu Nghia, following a series of snatch-and-grab robberies in Ho Dac Kien commune.

On August 8, the suspects attempted to steal a gold necklace from a grocery store owner by pretending to buy cigarettes. The victim resisted and raised an alarm, causing the suspects to flee without the property. Later that day, the pair attempted another robbery against a woman on a motorbike, successfully breaking a portion of a necklace during the struggle.

Following an investigation by the Can Tho Criminal Police and local authorities, both suspects were apprehended on August 9 while attempting to hide in Tan Phuoc Hung commune.
