Can Yaman honored at i-Fest International Film Festival

Turkish actor Can Yaman was a featured guest at the tenth edition of the i-Fest International Film Festival held at the Castello Aragonese. During the event, Yaman received a Special Award for his contributions to the industry.

Yaman, known for international series such as ‘Daydreamer’ and ‘Mr. Wrong’, discussed his role in the production of ‘Sandokan’, which was filmed in part in Calabria. He expressed a deep connection to Italy, stating, ‘Italy is now a home for me.’ He noted that the project allowed him to truly connect with the Italian public.

The festival also featured actress Aurora Quattrocchi and musical performances of Ennio Morricone’s scores by Nello Salza. The event, directed by Giuseppe Panebianco, showcased over 200 films across various categories.
