Canaã dos Carajás: Motorcyclists vandalize home after delivery worker assault

A group of delivery motorcyclists vandalized a residence and vehicles in Canaã dos Carajás, Pará, following an alleged assault on a delivery worker. The incident occurred on Tuesday (22) in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood.

The confrontation reportedly began at midday when a delivery driver arrived at a residence and used a horn to signal his arrival. The resident allegedly became irritated by the noise and assaulted the worker. Videos of the assault circulated on WhatsApp, prompting a mobilization of other delivery professionals.

During the night, dozens of motorcyclists gathered near the suspect's home on Rua 15 de Novembro. Images from the scene show significant damage to the property, including broken gates, windows, and electrical equipment. A vehicle parked at the location sustained damage to its bodywork, windshields, and side mirrors, and a bicycle was also damaged.

Local Military Police were deployed to contain the crowd, but reports indicate that some individuals returned to the site to rev engines and set off fireworks toward the garage. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the initial assault and the subsequent vandalism, though no arrests or injuries have been officially confirmed.
