Canada and England prepare for Women's Rugby World Cup final rematch

England enters the match holding a record 39 consecutive test victories and a dominant head-to-head record against Canada, with 14 straight wins dating back to 2016. Canada, currently ranked third in the world, has focused on rebuilding following their 33-13 loss in the World Cup final. Canadian scrum-half Olivia Apps noted that the team has undergone significant development over the past year, describing the current period as the ‘beginning of a new chapter’ after integrating several new players into the squad.
