Canada's offensive effort was led by Claire Carter, Verónica Dickson, and Lauryn Hovey. The Dominican Republic's performance was highlighted by Alondra Tapia and Katielle Alonzo, who dominated the early stages of the match. This result marks the second consecutive loss for the Dominican Republic following a defeat against the United States.
