Canada Goose partners with Ewan McGregor for transatlantic sailing documentary

Luxury outerwear brand Canada Goose has partnered with actor Ewan McGregor for the documentary series ‘True Wind’. The project follows McGregor and his friend, Eric Strickland, on an unsupported transatlantic sailing expedition.

As the official protective gear partner, Canada Goose has provided an integrated gear system designed for extreme maritime environments. Key items include the ‘Sea Mantra’ parka, which was engineered over six years for harsh seas and wet weather, and the Horizon Rain Jacket. The brand is also using the expedition to test unreleased products.

The voyage departed from Oban, Scotland, at the end of August, with the crew expected to arrive in Brazil later this autumn. The series is directed by David Alexanian and produced in collaboration with Elixir Films and Lief Entertainment Company.
