Canada hosts new country dance festivals in Toronto and Drummondville

Toronto will launch the 18‑day Toronto Country Fest on Aug. 6‑23, 2026, in the Distillery Historic District. The free‑admission event offers daily western‑themed entertainment, including line‑dance lessons, Nashville‑style DJ nights, mechanical bull riding, a Ferris wheel, kids' activities, and food and drink options from local vendors.

In Quebec, Drummondville will hold its first Country Dance Festival on Aug. 21‑22 at the Centrexpo Promutuel Assurance. Organized by the dance school MPLDance, the two‑day program provides more than 20 hours of country‑dance instruction, performances, and activities for both beginners and experienced dancers, aiming to draw participants from across the province and boost local tourism.
