Canada issues Express Entry invitations for CEC and senior managers

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted several Express Entry draws in mid-September 2026, targeting various professional categories for permanent residence.

On September 15, 2026, a draw for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) issued 2,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 519. This follows a recent trend of slight declines in CEC cut-off scores, which were 521 and 523 in previous rounds.

Additionally, on September 16, 2026, the IRCC issued 250 ITAs specifically for senior managers with Canadian work experience. Candidates in this category required a minimum CRS score of 389 and a profile created before September 1, 2026.
