Canada police arrest drivers after high‑speed chases in Regina, Moose Jaw and Winnipeg

Police aerial support monitored the vehicle and both Regina and Moose Jaw police deployed tire‑deflation devices before stopping the driver, who faced charges of dangerous driving, fleeing a peace officer and unlawful presence.

In Manitoba, a 20‑year‑old man was charged following a street‑racing incident on the Nairn Overpass in Winnipeg where vehicles reached speeds of up to 200 km/h. Police helicopters traced the racers; a Jeep driver was ticketed, while a Corvette driver fled on foot and was later apprehended with the aid of a police dog. The driver was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and fleeing a police officer.
