Canada revokes parole for man convicted of killing two women
The Parole Board of Canada has revoked the statutory release of Shawn Lamb, returning him to prison less than a year after his release. Lamb had previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter for the 2012 deaths of two Indigenous women, Carolyn Sinclair and Lorna Blacksmith.
According to the parole board, Lamb breached several release conditions and is suspected of drug trafficking and interacting with vulnerable populations. The board determined that his risk to the community is no longer manageable, stating that his actions place the public at risk.
