Canada to lead MSPO 2026 defense exhibition in Poland

Canada will serve as the Leading Nation at the XXXIV International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, Poland. This participation marks the largest Canadian defense sector trade mission in history, aimed at transforming military cooperation with Poland into a long-term defense-industrial partnership.

The mission focuses on joint production, technological development, supply chain integration, and exports to European and third-party markets. Key participants include Tulmar Safety Systems Inc., which was selected by Global Affairs Canada to join the official Team Canada delegation. Tulmar specializes in life jackets, tactical equipment, and rescue systems, having previously supplied equipment to both the British and Canadian armed forces.

The strategic emphasis of Canada’s role at MSPO is to strengthen existing European relations and develop new ties within Poland and other NATO member states. This follows Canada’s ongoing commitment to European security, including Operation REASSURANCE, which supports NATO deterrence and defense efforts.
