Canada secured the gold medal in the inaugural Pan-American Men's Lacrosse Championship in Kingston, Jamaica, following a 9-8 comeback victory against the United States. Jack Oldman contributed significantly to the win, winning 12 of 20 faceoff attempts during the final match.

Alongside Canada and the United States, the Haudenosaunee and Jamaica have qualified for the 2027 World Lacrosse Men's Championship in Tokyo. The Haudenosaunee secured their spot with a victory over the U.S. Virgin Islands, while Jamaica qualified after defeating Puerto Rico.

Canada and the United States have both appeared in every edition of the World Lacrosse Men's Championship since 1967 and will make their 15th appearances in 2027.
