Canada Women’s National Team names roster for Denmark series

Eight players with connections to the Premier Soccer Leagues Canada (PSLC) pathway have been named to the Canada Women’s National Team roster for a two-match series against Denmark in October.

Among the selections are Kaylee Hunter and Emma Regan, alumni of the British Columbia Premier League. Hunter, an 18-year-old who recently competed in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, previously played for Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite. Regan, a Burnaby native, has experience with TSS FC Rovers and Varsity FC.

From the Ontario Premier League, Vanessa Gilles, Jade Rose, and Olivia Smith have also been selected. Gilles, who played for West Ottawa SC, currently competes for FC Bayern Munich. The roster selection comes as the team prepares for its final international window before the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.
