Canada's 2026 PNP Draws Issue Over 2,600 Invitations to Skilled Workers
On July 20, 2026 Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry Draw #427, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) round that issued 511 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 744. The draw was the 14th PNP round of the year and marked a 36‑point rebound from the previous draw on July 6, which had a cut‑off of 708.
Four days earlier, on July 16, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program conducted its largest draw of 2026, issuing 2,146 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs). Most invitations (1,874) went to candidates in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway, requiring a minimum score of 825 in the province’s Expression of Interest system. Additional invitations were extended to francophone candidates, occupation‑specific selections, and international graduates, reflecting Manitoba’s effort to address labour shortages and attract skilled talent.
