Canadian airlines add winter routes to Brazil and Caribbean
WestJet will open a seasonal São Paulo–Calgary service using a Boeing 787‑9 Dreamliner. The route operates from 15 December 2026 to 14 February 2027, offering business‑class, premium economy and economy seats and providing direct access to western Canadian destinations such as Banff, Lake Louise and the Rocky Mountains.
Air Canada is expanding its winter schedule with five new nonstop routes. Flights will link Toronto and Montreal to Roatán, Honduras, and Montreal to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Additional seasonal services include Toronto‑Mérida, Mexico; Vancouver‑Mazatlán, Mexico; and other Caribbean connections. These flights begin in November‑December and run through April, giving Canadian travelers more direct options for warm‑weather vacations during the northern winter.
