Canadian Collegiate Invitational begins at Öviinbyrd Golf Club
The Canadian Collegiate Invitational, an NCAA Division I men's golf tournament, is being held at the Öviinbyrd Golf Club in MacTier, Ontario. Conducted by Golf Canada, the event is co-hosted by Penn State and Kent State for the third consecutive year.
The 54-hole tournament features a 13-team field including Notre Dame, the back-to-back defending champion, alongside programs such as Rutgers, Missouri, Mississippi State, and the University of British Columbia Okanagan. The field consists of approximately 75 players.
Mississippi State is participating in the event, marking the first time the program has appeared in an international tournament. The competition is scheduled to run from Sunday through Tuesday, utilizing shotgun starts for each round.
