Whitehorse, Yukon, has been named a top destination on global travel hotlists. The city is being recognized for its pristine wilderness, Indigenous heritage, and sustainable adventure tourism. As travelers increasingly seek authentic, low-impact experiences away from metropolitan hubs, Whitehorse serves as a gateway to the Yukon’s mountains and boreal forests.

In Alberta, the town of Canmore has been featured on Vrbo’s ‘2027 Heartland Hideouts’ list. The town saw a 55 per cent increase in vacation rental searches, reflecting a trend of travelers seeking mountain escapes and wildlife viewing with fewer crowds. Winnipeg was also included in the list, noting a 20 per cent increase in searches.
