Canadian Gold Miners Westhaven and Asante Release Corporate Updates

Westhaven Gold Corp. announced the grant of 300,000 incentive stock options to its officers, each exercisable at $0.375 per share and vesting over 18 months, bringing the total outstanding options to 19.7 million (7.5% of the company’s shares). The options are part of the company’s Equity Incentive Plan, which permits issuance of up to 10% of its share capital.

Asante Gold Corp. provided its 2026 production guidance, projecting 275,000‑300,000 ounces of gold at an all‑in‑sustaining cost of US$3,200‑US$3,600 per ounce. The update highlighted operational initiatives at the Bibiani and Chirro gold mines, including deferred or cancelled US$50 million of capital projects and ongoing cost‑efficiency measures. Acting CEO Campbell Baird said the company is moving from building its operational platform to delivering consistent production and financial results.
