Canadian miners Storm Exploration and Goldstorm Metals launch major drilling programs
Storm Exploration (TSXV:STRM) is advancing its Gold Standard project in northwestern Ontario. After identifying a large airborne conductivity anomaly linked to a potential Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide (VMS) system rich in copper and zinc, the company has begun a two‑phase field program that includes ground geophysics, rock sampling and a LiDAR survey, with up to 3,000 m of drilling planned to test the target.
Goldstorm Metals (TSXV:GSTM) has commenced Phase 1 of a diamond drill program at its 100 % owned Crown copper‑gold‑silver project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. The 3,000 m drill program will test the Copernicus copper‑gold trend over a 1.2 km IP chargeability anomaly and the newly identified Delta West gold zone, where a grab sample returned more than 39 g/t gold. The company also plans additional mapping and sampling, with a potential Phase 2 of about 6,000 m pending positive results.
