Canadian mining companies advance gold exploration programs
Blue Lagoon Resources Inc. has initiated a 10,000-metre Phase One exploration drilling program at its Dome Mountain Gold Mine near Smithers, British Columbia. The program aims to test high-priority targets across the 22,000-hectare property and expand the existing mineral resource as part of a multi-year strategy.
Separately, Laurion Mineral Exploration Inc. has reported assay results from its Ishkōday Gold and Polymetallic Project in northwestern Ontario. Drilling from the 2026 Phase 1 program, specifically holes LBX26-111 and LBX26-112, identified gold, silver, copper, and zinc mineralization. These results are intended to advance the A-Zone and support a potential maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.
