Canadian National Exhibition returns to Toronto with unique food offerings
The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is set to return to Toronto this Friday, August 21, marking its 147th year. The annual end-of-summer event will run through Labour Day and features a variety of attractions, including midway rides, games, and diverse culinary offerings.
This year’s food menu includes several unconventional items such as Kraft Dinner smoothies, nitrogen-infused Oreo treats, pickle-flavoured coffee, and mango habanero donuts. A signature cotton candy-inspired hot sauce, created in partnership with Tijuana Tom’s House of Hot Sauce, will also be available. Other notable food options include butter chicken taquitos and the galactic-themed “Space Rocks” treat.
In addition to food and rides, the fair will host a session with Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, who is scheduled to discuss the Artemis II mission and life in space on the opening day.
