Canadian tech stocks see massive returns amid global investment push

Canadian technology companies are seeing significant growth, with five firms in the TSX30 ranking achieving an average three-year return of 981%. This performance is driven by sectors such as artificial intelligence infrastructure, space technology, aerospace, and satellite communications.

Celestica has emerged as a leader, with shares gaining 2,590% over three years due to high demand for data centre infrastructure and connectivity solutions required for AI workloads. Hut 8 Corp also reported a 645% return during the same period.

In tandem with these market gains, the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) hosted the Canadian Global Growth Forum in Toronto. The event aimed to connect Canadian tech firms with international investors to encourage capital deployment in the country, coinciding with broader efforts to bolster Canada's economy and technological independence.
