Canagold Resources' gold-antimony project joins Canada Investment Summit prospectus

Canagold Resources Ltd. has announced that its 100%-owned New Polaris Gold-Antimony Project, located in northwestern British Columbia, has been included in the Canada Investment Summit Prospectus. The project is recognized for its strategic importance and investment potential within Canada’s critical minerals and mining sector.

The Canada Investment Summit, hosted by Prime Minister Mark Carney in partnership with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, aims to attract up to $1 trillion in investment. The summit is scheduled for September 14 and 15, 2026, in Toronto.

New Polaris is a feasibility-stage project that completed a Feasibility Study in 2025. Because antimony is designated as a critical mineral in Canada due to its use in defense, electronics, and clean energy, the project is positioned to help establish a domestic supply chain. The project has also been designated a Priority Project by the Province of British Columbia.
