CANAL+ and ORF extend Champions League broadcasting deal

CANAL+ and ORF have extended their partnership for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League season. The collaboration will continue the existing model where the highlight program, ‘Mehr Fußball – Die Champions League Highlights’, is produced at the Auhof Studios in Vienna.

Under the agreement, CANAL+ ACTION will broadcast the highlights, while ORF will provide editorial support, presenters, and experts for the broadcast on ORF 1. The upcoming season's highlights will be presented by Elisabeth Gamauf and Rainer Pariasek, with football experts Georg Teigl and Peter Stöger providing analysis.

In addition to the highlight show, CANAL+ will broadcast live matches exclusively in Austria, including a match between Liverpool FC and Atlético Madrid scheduled for September 9.
