Canal Sur announces 228 permanent job openings
Canal Sur has officially announced a major recruitment process to fill 228 permanent positions within Radio y Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA) and Canal Sur Radio y Televisión. This marks the first large-scale public employment offer of this nature for the entity since 2008.
The recruitment aims to address vacancies caused by retirements and leaves, while also reserving 38 positions to ensure generational renewal and operational continuity. The selection process will be conducted in four distinct stages: the reinstatement of personnel on leave, a transfer competition for permanent staff, internal promotion, and finally, an open competitive examination for the general public.
Antonio Sanz, the Counselor of Presidency, Health, and Emergencies, described the initiative as a historic achievement intended to provide stability to the public broadcaster and enhance the quality of technical and journalistic information provided to the citizens of Andalusia.
