Canale 5 launches Turkish drama “Be My Sunshine” summer soap

Italian broadcaster Canale 5 began airing the Turkish‑origin drama “Be My Sunshine” (original title “Ada Masalı”) from 13 July 2026. The daily episodes follow hotel manager Poyraz (Alp Navruz) and his love interest Haziran (Ayça Ayşin Turan) as they navigate professional pressures, a pending boutique‑hotel licence and a web of personal betrayals. Early episodes show Poyraz urging Haziran to accept a job and leave the island, a deception staged to fool Zeynep with a fake Sirtaki video, and escalating conflicts with colleagues Gorkem, Idil and the mayor Latif. By mid‑week the hotel finally secures its licence, but a sudden illness forces the band’s guitarist to withdraw from the opening concert, prompting a last‑minute replacement.

The series combines romantic tension with family intrigues and bureaucratic hurdles, culminating in a cliff‑hanger as Haziran decides whether to stay on the island or return to Istanbul. Episodes aired daily at 14:35 on Canale 5 throughout the week of 13‑19 July.
