Canale 5 revamps daytime slot with Turkish drama “My Sweet Lie” and new “Far Away” storyline

Italian broadcaster Canale 5 adds the Turkish series “My Sweet Lie” (original title Benim Tatlı Yalanım) to its weekday afternoon lineup, debuting on Monday 3 August at 14:45 and streaming on Mediaset Infinity. The show, starring Furkan Palalı, follows designer Nejat Yılmaz who tells his daughter Kayra a protective lie about her absent mother.

The addition pushes the existing soap “Be My Sunshine” to a later slot at 15:45 and creates a fully Turkish‑focused afternoon block. A week later, on Friday 7 August, the network airs a new episode of the series “Far Away,” in which characters Alya and Cihan uncover a long‑kept secret that reshapes their family dynamics.
