Canals begins improvement works on CV-5964 road

The City Council of Canals has announced the start of improvement works on the CV-5964 highway, also known as the old Olleria road. The project aims to enhance road safety and improve conditions for drivers, hikers, and cyclists.

Funded by the Diputación de València, the project has a budget of approximately 400,000 euros and an expected execution period of two months. Key actions include renewing pavement in sections not covered by 2018 works and widening shoulders where road conditions permit.

Additionally, the intervention will address drainage issues to prevent water from damaging the road surface. The project also focuses on preparing the infrastructure, particularly the final stretch, for potential use in sporting events.
