Canara Bank receives two official language awards
Canara Bank has been honored with two awards from the Department of Official Language, Government of India, during the 6th All India Official Language Conference held in Navi Mumbai.
The bank’s quarterly in-house magazine, ‘Canara Jyothi’, received the ‘Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar’ (Second Prize) in the ‘C’ region. Additionally, the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Banks & Insurance), Bengaluru—convened by Canara Bank—was awarded the ‘Sarvashreshta Puraskar’ under the ‘NARAKAS Protsahan Samman’ for its efforts in promoting the Hindi language.
Representatives Shri Praveen Kumar Singh and Smt. Sreekala Sreekumar accepted the awards from Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Smt. Anshuli Arya, Secretary of the Department of Official Language.
