Canara Bank revises ATM transaction fees and free limits

Canara Bank has implemented a revised schedule for ATM transaction charges. For regular savings account holders, the number of free monthly transactions at Canara Bank ATMs has been reduced from six to five. This limit includes both financial and non-financial services, such as balance inquiries and mini statements.

Senior citizens are exempt from this reduction and will continue to receive eight free transactions per month.

Following the exhaustion of the free monthly quota, several fees have increased. Cash withdrawals at Canara Bank ATMs, including those via UPI through Interoperable Cash Deposit/Withdrawal (ICCW), have risen from INR 20 plus GST to INR 23 plus GST. Additionally, the fee for transactions that fail due to insufficient funds has increased from INR 17 plus GST to INR 23 plus GST for both Canara Bank and other banks' ATMs.

Conversely, the bank has reduced the fee for regenerating a Green PIN after the free limit is reached, lowering the cost from INR 23 to INR 5 plus GST.
