Canary Capital launches first US spot Hedera (HBAR) ETF on Nasdaq
Asset manager Canary Capital announced filing and a renewed marketing push for its spot Hedera (HBAR) Exchange‑Traded Fund, ticker HBR, to be listed on the Nasdaq exchange. The product is the first U.S. spot ETF for Hedera, expanding crypto offerings beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum and targeting conservative investors by highlighting Hedera’s corporate‑governed network, which includes members such as Google and IBM, and its role in real‑world asset tokenization.
Investor demand has been muted. Cumulative net inflows reached roughly $105 million by June, but inflows occurred on only a few days each month. During the same period HBAR’s price fell about 40% from $0.11 to $0.06, although whale activity has shown some buying interest near the $0.065 support level.
