A total of 541 unaccompanied migrant minors scheduled for transfer from the Canary Islands to other Spanish autonomous communities remained in the archipelago. Since the start of the transfer program last year, 2,273 minors have been successfully moved to other regions. The data indicates that for every five minors transferred, one remains in the Canary Islands despite having an active transfer procedure.

The completed transfers followed three main legal pathways: 1,200 minors were moved under international protection following Supreme Court orders; 364 were transferred via an additional provision of the modified Immigration Law; and 709 utilized an 'express route' reserved for minors arriving after the declaration of a migration contingency on August 29.
