Canary Islands host cultural and audiovisual heritage events

The Canary Islands are hosting several cultural and audiovisual initiatives. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the third edition of the Historical Heritage Days will take place from November 11 to 13. The event centers on the centenary of the García Sanabria Park and includes theatrical routes, exhibitions, and participatory experiences to highlight the city's botanical and sculptural wealth.

In the audiovisual sector, the IsLABentura 2026 program is presenting its selected scripts to major national and regional production companies, including Movistar Plus and Buendía Estudios. The laboratory has selected sixteen scripts across fiction and animation, with actress Toni Acosta serving as an ambassador.

Additionally, the second edition of ‘Santa Cruz en Corto’ is being held at Espacio Price. This initiative aims to promote short films and connect the public with Canary audiovisual professionals. The event features a new ‘Guest Production Company’ section, with 3 Doubles Producciones serving as the inaugural participant.
