Canary Islands hosts music industry talk and Mambisa concert

Several cultural events are scheduled in the Canary Islands. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes will host a talk titled “Behind the scenes: how a concert is born in the Canary Islands” on September 24, 2026. Organized by Culturamanía and the DocuRock Festival, the session features industry professionals Félix Marrero of Planet Caravan and Laura Palacios of Phe Festival and LaLa Music. The discussion aims to provide insight into concert organization, marketing, and artist management within the region.

Additionally, the musical group Mambisa is scheduled to perform in Agulo, La Gomera, on September 26. The concert, part of the local patron saint festivities for the Señora de Las Mercedes, will take place at the Plaza Leoncio Bento. The performance will feature a mix of traditional Canary Island rhythms and contemporary fusion, accompanied by guest performers Nicolasa Delgado and Carlos Montesinos.
