La Palma implements infrastructure and employment projects

Several infrastructure and employment initiatives are underway in La Palma. The Cabildo de La Palma has completed improvements at the Mirador del Infinito in San Andrés y Sauces, an investment of approximately 74,711 euros aimed at enhancing security, accessibility, and conservation within the Biosphere Reserve.

In Santa Cruz de La Palma, a 227,857 euro project has renovated the former northern entrance of the port. The works include new pedestrian areas, seating, vegetation, a pergola, and LED lighting to better integrate the port area with the city and improve the experience for cruise passengers. This project is considered the first phase of a larger urban transformation.

Additionally, the Fuencaliente City Council is collaborating with Fedepalma to promote employment resources. The council will integrate the ‘Trabajo La Palma’ platform into its website to help residents access job listings and help companies find local personnel.
