Canary Islands PSOE leaders focus on housing and pensions ahead of elections

Ángel Víctor Torres, Minister of Territorial Policy and Secretary General of the PSOE in the Canary Islands, has called on citizens protesting for housing rights and against evictions to vote in the upcoming general elections on November 29. During a regional committee meeting in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Torres criticized the PP for not clarifying its stance on pensions and accused regional PP presidents of obstructing the Housing Law.

In terms of electoral organization, the PSOE has confirmed that María Dolores Corujo will lead the party's list for the Congress of Deputies in the province of Las Palmas. Corujo, representing Lanzarote, aims to prioritize public services, housing access, and improved living conditions for citizens.
