Canberra Raiders offer Hudson Young revised $4.4m contract

The Canberra Raiders are preparing to offer Hudson Young a revised four-year contract worth $4.4 million. This upgraded proposal follows an initial three-year, $3.3 million offer, which was previously the club's most lucrative contract to date. The new deal would extend Young's tenure in Canberra until the end of 2031.

Raiders officials aim to secure Young before he enters the open market on November 1. While Young previously explored a move to the Chiefs in Port Moresby, interest from that club reportedly cooled due to salary cap implications regarding his market value.

In related news, Englishman Matty Nicholson has agreed to a three-year extension with the Raiders.
