Cancer announces new death metal album ‘Inverted World’

UK death metal band Cancer has announced the release of their seventh full-length album, titled ‘Inverted World’, scheduled for release on 25th April. The album follows their 2018 release, ‘Shadow Gripped’.

Founding member and vocalist John Walker noted that the writing process began shortly after the Covid lockdowns. The new material explores themes of dystopia, corruption, existential horror, and the weaponization of religion. The album was recorded at The Empty Hall Studio with Simón Da Silva and mixed by V. Santura at Woodshed Studio.
