Cancer patients in Romania seek support for intensive treatments

Two Romanian individuals are facing significant health challenges and undergoing intensive medical treatments.

George Melinte has been diagnosed with alveolar soft part sarcoma, a rare cancer that has metastasized to his lungs and brain. Following surgeries and chemotherapy, doctors have recommended immunotherapy as a vital next step. Due to the high costs of specialized investigations, travel, and non-compensated medication, Melinte is seeking financial assistance to fund his treatment and pursue a second medical opinion in Italy.

Alina Pușcău is currently in the United States undergoing complex medical treatment for metastatic breast cancer. As she continues her medical regimen, she has shared her reliance on spiritual support, noting the importance of faith during her second treatment session.
