Cancer remains a leading focus for medical AI queries and clinical research
Cancer remains a primary focus in the medical community, driving significant interest in both emerging treatments and digital diagnostic tools. An analysis of millions of Medscape AI queries across nine countries indicates that cancer is the most-searched disease area, suggesting clinicians are increasingly utilizing artificial intelligence to navigate the complexities of oncology and disease heterogeneity.
In the United States, the American Cancer Society estimates approximately 2,041,910 new cancer cases in 2025. While death rates have declined due to early detection and smoking cessation, the occurrence rates for several major cancers, including breast, pancreatic, and prostate, continue to rise.
In a separate report, researchers from The Wellness Company published a study regarding the use of compounded Ivermectin and Mebendazole in cancer treatment. In a group of 197 patients, 84.4% of those who completed a six-month follow-up reported clinical benefits, such as tumor shrinkage or stable disease. The study suggests these compounds may work through a dual-action mechanism to disrupt tumor growth and block glucose absorption in abnormal cells.
