Cancer support organizations in Argentina and Venezuela are hosting community events focused on prevention and patient support.

In Argentina, the Instituto Misionero del Cáncer (IMC) celebrated its eighth anniversary with the second Expo-Feria and Festival, ‘Vida y expresión en el proceso oncológico’. Held at the Cascada de la Costanera in Posadas, the event featured entrepreneurs, health information spaces, and artistic performances to highlight the capabilities and projects of patients and former patients.

In Venezuela, the Fundación de Lucha Contra el Cáncer de Mama (FUNCAMAMA) announced the 11th edition of its ‘Camino con FUNCAMAMA’ charity walk, scheduled for November 1. The event aims to raise funds to support the foundation’s work, which provides care to over 40,000 people annually. This year’s campaign, titled ‘A Tiempo’, emphasizes the importance of health prevention and early care.
