Cancer support organizations host fundraising and information events

Cancer support organizations in Belgium and Germany are hosting events to provide aid and information to patients and their families.

In Belgium, the Krebshilfe VoG is holding its annual fundraising day in Deidenberg. For 37 years, the organization has provided services including a driving service for patients, support for self-help groups, and assistance with medical necessities such as wigs, specialized nutrition, and medication. The event features musical entertainment and food to raise funds for these ongoing services.

In Germany, the self-help group for people with and after cancer in Neuburg an der Donau is marking its 15th anniversary with a series of information days. The program includes lectures on advanced medical treatments, such as CAR-T-cell therapies, presented by experts from the LMU Klinikum München. The initiative aims to provide hope and foster exchange between experts, patients, and relatives.
