Cancún hosts community events for Halloween and breast cancer awareness
Cancún is hosting several community-focused activities. The fourth edition of the “Puenteando 2026: Dulce o Truco” event will take place on Sunday, October 25, from 17:00 to 21:00 at the Puente Nichupté. Organized by the Quintana Roo Institute of Mobility (IMOVEQROO), the event is designed for children and adolescents and will feature a costume contest, stands for trick-or-treating, and invitations for participants to use bicycles or skates.
Additionally, more than 80 people participated in a “Rodando Cancún” pink ride on October 17 to promote breast cancer prevention. Organized by the Benito Juárez City Council through the Municipal Institute of Urban Development Planning (IMPLAN), the seven-kilometer route aimed to raise awareness for World Breast Cancer Day. The initiative included collaboration with the civil association Salud y Bienestar de Quintana Roo, which provided free mammography passes to participants.
