Cancún launches weekend Paseo Cancunense and inaugural Festa Della Pizza festival

The Municipality of Benito Juárez in Cancún organized a double‑day Paseo Cancunense on August 1‑2. A night edition on Saturday, Aug 1, ran from 18:00‑21:00 with a Social Run 5K, Latin‑rhythm classes, live DJ Wixel, free bike loans, a women‑entrepreneur market and other family‑friendly activities. Sunday, Aug 2, featured the "Infancias que nos unen" program with a puppet‑theatre show, a recreational rally, and a 5K recreational race for children.

Simultaneously, the city hosted the first "Cancún Festa Della Pizza" from July 31 to August 2 at the Malecón Tajamar. Municipal officials Landy Guadalupe Canché Pantoja and Juan Pablo de Zulueta promoted the three‑day event, which includes a pizza‑making contest, live music, freestyle performances, a kids zone and other recreational attractions, celebrating the sister‑city link with Naples, Italy.
