Cancún transit patrol vehicle collides with new MOBI bus

A municipal transit patrol vehicle collided with a new MOBI (Sistema de Movilidad del Bienestar Quintanarroense) bus in Cancún on Thursday night. The accident occurred around 10:00 PM when the official unit struck the rear of the bus.

No injuries were reported, and the incident resulted only in material damage. The patrol vehicle sustained damage primarily to the driver's side. This accident follows the recent integration of the Turicun company into the MOBI system, which recently deployed 38 new Euro 6 technology buses. Turicun director Vicente Noya Cruz stated that the company plans to add between 50 and 70 more buses to the system before the end of the year.
