Cancore raises $7.2 million in seed funding to link Canton Network with public chains
Cancore, a startup developing trading infrastructure to connect the Canton Network with public blockchains, has closed a $7.2 million seed funding round. The round, which reportedly values the company at $60 million, was backed by Paper Ventures, dao5, ArkStream Capital, X Ventures, MH Ventures, and Proof of Talk.
Cancore operates a non-custodial execution and settlement layer described as a ‘Liquidity OS for Tokenized Finance.’ The platform utilizes atomic settlement to enable trades between Canton-native assets, such as tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), and public networks like EVM chains and TRON. This mechanism ensures that transactions either complete fully on both sides or do not occur at all, utilizing cryptographic conditions to prevent settlement failure without the need for wrapped tokens or custodians.
Since launching on the Canton mainnet in April 2026, Cancore has reported significant activity. As of October 2026, the platform had processed over $50 million in lifetime transaction volume and executed more than 84,000 trades, generating over $538,000 in protocol revenue.
