Candela Galarza performs at Danzar por la Paz charity gala

Dancer Candela Galarza, a native of Firmat, performed with the La Biaba Folkloric Dance Company during the 22nd edition of the ‘Danzar por la Paz 2026’ charity gala. The event took place on October 7 at the Teatro Astengo in Rosario.

The gala was held to benefit UNICEF Argentina, with this year’s program paying tribute to the legacy of Mercedes Sosa. Galarza and the company performed two sets consisting of zambas and a chacarera. The event featured various national dance references, including the Ballet Argentino de La Plata and the Koi Ballet of Rosario.
