Candelaria to present public innovation models in Panama

Gessica Vallejo Valencia, the mayor of Candelaria, will participate in an international public innovation summit in Panama. Invited by the Red de Innovación Local, she will present the municipality's administrative experiences to approximately 25 Latin American mayors.

Since 2024, Candelaria has integrated technological tools and data-driven strategies into its municipal administration to better address citizen needs. The participation aims to showcase these technological advancements as effective tools for municipal management while allowing the municipality to acquire new innovation strategies and management models from other cities. This international presence is also seen as an opportunity to strengthen the regional image of Valle del Cauca.
