Candice Gauch Crowned Miss Languedoc 2026 in Beaucaire

The regional beauty pageant Miss Languedoc 2026 concluded on 7 August in Beaucaire, France. Consultant Candice Gauch, aged 29 and originally from Lozère, was crowned Miss Languedoc 2026, becoming the first Miss Lozère to win the title. She will now represent the region at the Miss France 2026 competition scheduled for 12 December.

Seventeen‑year‑old Maëva Benoit of Saint‑Christol‑lès‑Alès, who previously held the Miss Pays d'Uzès title and was first runner‑up at Miss Alès, also competed in the final. Benoit expressed her long‑term ambition to reach Miss France, noting the intensive rehearsals, choreography and preparation leading up to the event.
